My Blogs and Why I Travel

“Don’t listen to what they say. Go see.” – Chinese Proverb

Traveling is a personal experience, seeing and hearing others can help you to understand what to expect, but every time I travel a place, I see things differently than what I read or saw in pictures and videos.

My brother and I, we travel a lot, he travels for work and now I travel for discovery. Although many times we go to the same destination, we see totally different things and experience absolutely different experiences.

In my Blogs, I try to give you my experience, the way I saw things, and the history of the place. In my opinion, the story and the history change your perspective of what you see.

“Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.” – Anonymous

For me traveling is adventure, discovery, broadening my mindset, seeing new civilizations, new ideas and most importantly new and authentic food. Going to a place and hearing the history as you visit the places gives you a completely new perspective of the history and changes your thinking and makes your understanding richer and more interesting.

Traveling can be as expensive as you want it to be, I’ve seen people spend much less than I do, and people spend way more. The amount of money spent will not change the places you might visit but will change your perspective. I am not a backpacker, nor am I a person who goes to a destination to sit in a hotel and eat my usual food.

I have been traveling, working, and living in different places for as long as I remember. Immigrated few times, worked as an Expat in many countries, and traveled to different destinations. For me traveling is a hobby and passion, I do a great amount of research before I travel, and I travel with friends who know the place as locals.

but I am not a professional blogger or vlogger, I do not have a photographer with me, I do not spend a huge time editing my pictures and Videos, that is why in my Blogs you see the realistic expectations. What I focus on in my Blogs is the things I like, stories, history, structures, food, way of life and different life experiences. This is what enriches your life and makes your travel rich and meaningful, also makes you take a piece of that location with you in your memory for a long time.
